I go to Stafford primary school, and I am in Mrs. Amri’s class. Every morning school starts at 7:50 I wake up at 6:15. The three subjects at the end of the day are P.E, music and library. School is about 6 hours, the reason that I love school is that we all get education from the teachers that love us like my old teachers: Eileen, Karen, Bernadette, Kate, Addie, McNeil and Amri. School is a great experience for children all around the world.
This week I had state championships in Springfield. I got to swim 8 events.There wer about 600 kids participating in state. I swam the 100 free, 50 fly and the 50 back on Saturday and on Sunday I did the 100 free relay, 100 IM, 50 free, 25 free and the 100 medley. I got 3 ribbons 
and 2 medals. My Grammy from California came to see me swim. I think State was a great experience to be with older kids that I can keep up with. I was so glad that I earned two medals on the 50 backstroke and 25freestyle.

FAVORITE SPORT?
We had a party on Friday. At the party we had waffles with syrup, whipped cream, and blueberries. After we finished our breakfast, we had a word search that the special guests could do with their family. We made a couplet video for all the special guests to see at the party. Then we played a bit of bingo. Two of the people that won the rounds were Sage and Grady. Everybody got smelly bookmarkers that my mom and I donated for the prizes. Then we sang “Count On Me” with our special guests and some of the guests started to shed tears of happiness. Then all the families said thank you and went home. We passed out Valentines for each of our classmates after recess.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT VALENTINE’S DAY THE MOST?
My new years resolution for this year is to get an A time in state swimming and to pay attention in school more. I will learn more and one day I will go to the Olympic trials..
On my two week winter break, the first Saturday I went to a swim meet called the Animal Meet. It was my first time swimming at this meet. My grammy from San Jose, California came to watch me swim! I was able to complete the 200 I.M., 100 butterfly, and 500 freestyle. A 200 is 8 lengths of the pool. A 100 is 4 lengths of the pool and a 500 is 20 lengths of the pool! Even though it was my first time, I did not get disqualified (or DQed) and I won the high point award for girls 8 and under for the whole meet!!!!!!
My grammy came to stay for Christmas and New Years. My Papa stayed at home in California and stayed warm. We cooked and made special foods for the holidays. We even had a cookie exchange party with alot of my friends!!!
My favorite part of winter break was staying up late on New Years Eve and my mama and grammy at 12:01a on 1/1/16 ordered me the new American Girl doll Lea!!!!

What did you do for your Winter Break?
I have two new kittens!!!!! Their names are Piddy Paws and Yuki. They are both sisters and are 11 weeks old. We got them when they were 8 weeks old. Their big brother was kind of jealous when he first met them, but a few weeks later he started to get used to them. MY two kittens sure get more exercise then Emmett does!!!!!!!
I am thankful for my food, my friends, my family, what I have, that I have a house, my mom, all the things my family has done for me and sacrificed for me. I am going to go to my cousins or my B.F.Fs house. We will have a thanksgiving diner with my family and friends. I am excited for thanksgiving.
My name is Emelia Tomoko Uchishiba-Hall and this is how I got my name. My mom wanted Emiko but it would rhyme with my name it would be Emiko Tomoko Uchishiba- Hall. My dad wanted Emelia and my mom wanted Emi but my dad thought Emi was too babyish. so they gave me the choice of Emi or Emelia.
